Jimmy Osmond - Schedule Change

Dear Friends,

I regret to announce that my show "Moon River and Me" at the Niki Hall in Tokyo September 2 will need to be postponed.

We have had difficulty with the timing of procuring the necessary work visas in time for the show.

Some of you know that I am overseas performing right now and unfortunately I need to have my passport with me and that's also the case for key members of my band as well.  We have just waited too long to get this done, the timing of all of this was an oversight and I take full responsibility for that.

I sincerely want to thank all of you, the fan clubs and our sponsors, that had committed to large blocks of tickets to make the show happen.

I will still be flying to Japan with my family and will be doing the two free Firesides that are scheduled.

I would love to encourage those that have paid to do the meet and greet part of our show to please join us at these Firesides and I will take the necessary time to do all that we would have done at no cost to you.

All tickets and meet and greet tickets will be refunded by contacting the source where you acquired them.

My schedule is fully booked until the end of March 2018, however I am still hoping to reschedule a show in Japan sometime next year.

I am truly sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and thank you for you for your loyalty and understanding.

Sincerely your friend,

Jimmy Osmond

Hi Everyone,

I've been enjoying playing the Teen Angel in this U.K. tour of Grease the Musical. I have a little time off now, and we start up again June 27 at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. You can find the upcoming dates on jimmyosmond.com.

I hope all of the fathers out there have enjoyed their Father's Day - I know I have! I saw this online and it made me think of my wonderful father, George Osmond...

The official start of the summer is just around the corner, and I hope all of you find some time to enjoy the season with family and friends.

Happy Mother's Day from Jimmy Osmond

My mother was known as Mother Osmond to millions of fans around the world. Olive Osmond had the amazing ability of loving everyone and making them feel her sincerity.

I used to be jealous of sharing my mother with not only the many people we knew around the world, but also being the youngest of nine. I wanted all of her all of the time, but my mother's love was so amazing that somehow we all felt like we were her favorite. That is truly a gift. I still feel my mother's love even though she has been gone for many years now.

I'm so grateful for the knowledge that we can be together again as a forever family. Thank you, mother, for teaching me that and for bringing peace to my soul.
I love you with all my heart, my mother of mine.
Love, your #9

I wanted to share this amazing video that was put to my recording of "Mother of Mine," and I wish all of the mothers out there, including my sweet wife Michelle, a very Happy Mother's Day!
Love, Jimmy

Jimmy Osmond...What's next

Hi friends,

I thought I'd catch everyone up on all the exciting things coming my way - especially with my summer plans.

I just finished my last spring Moon River & Me Show at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center in Branson, Missouri. We'll be back there in September, so if you missed us this spring, I hope to see you in the fall. :-)

We had a really special event in Branson yesterday. There is a street that runs past the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center that has never had a name. In celebration of the theatre's 25th anniversary, we thought we'd name the street Andy Williams Boulevard. The City of Branson supported this idea and it was all made official yesterday. The Lennon Sisters were there, Illusionist Rick Thomas who also performs at the theatre was on hand, Andy's wife Debbie and his brother Don were there too. It was a great day. There are pictures from the dedication on the theatre's Facebook page and Twitter. Here is a little video clip from The Vacation Channel's coverage:

I'll be home for a few days, then we take the Moon River & Me Show back on the road. Next week we are headed for Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada at the Fallsview Casino & Resort. We'll be performing May 10-13, so if you're up that way, come and join us for the fun!

Directly from Niagara Falls we head to Macomb, Michigan where we'll perform one Moon River & Me Show at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts May 14.

I'll have another few days at home, then we have a Moon River & Me Show May 20 in Ogdensburg, NY at the George Hall Auditorium.

The following weekend I will begin my run as Teen Angel in Grease the Musical in the U.K. It will be great to play this part again! I start out May 29 at the Birmingham Hippodrome. After that run we go to the Bristol Hippodrome June 5-10. I'll have a little break, so my family will join me and we'll do some fun things together in the U.K. June 27 starts the next run of Grease the Musical in Southampton at the Mayflower Theatre.

Jimmy Osmond as Teen Angel in Grease the Musical

I'll be flying back to the States real quick for two Moon River & Me Shows in Ohio July 9 and 10, then I immediately return to the U.K. Grease the Musical will be in Cardiff July 17-29. I'll finish up my run as Teen Angel in Dublin, Ireland where we'll perform July 31-August 12.

The fun doesn't stop there though! The Moon River & Me at Sea cruise is the end of August. The cruises are always so much fun. Right after that, we take the Moon River & Me Show over to Japan! It has been a long time since I've performed there, so this should be an amazing experience.

Once I get back to the States from Japan, we have a Moon River & Me Show at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center in Vincennes, Indiana September 8.

Then, it's full circle back to the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center in Branson.

How's that for a busy summer!? ;-) All of the information for the shows can be found on jimmyosmond.com

I hope all of you have some exciting summer plans too, and if any of them bring you my way, I look forward to seeing you.

Jimmy Osmond - hello from the U.K.

Hi everyone,

If you follow me via Twitter or Facebook, you've probably seen that I've gotten over to the U.K. a little early for the Osmond Brothers concert dates we have coming up. My daughter, Sophia, is with me and we've been having a lot of fun. March 8 we did the Countdown show...

Jimmy Osmond with daughter Sophia

Then, March 11 I hosted a cookery show at the Springfield School in Witney. It was a fundraiser to help raise money for a minibus the school is in need of. It was wonderful to spend time with these great kids! If you'd like a look at the time we spent at Springfield, Witney TV has posted a video.

This Thursday, I meet up with Jay and Merrill for the first of three performance dates in the U.K. this month. We will be at The Concorde in Eastleigh Thursday, the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl Saturday, and Sunday at Butlins Skegness Resort. We've also just recently announced that Jay, Merrill and myself will be a part of the The Legends Live 2017 with eight dates from October 13-22, 2017. We'll be joining Suzi Quatro, David Essex and Hot Chocolate for this exciting arena tour. You can find all of the details on osmond.com.

Back in the States, we've had some excitement with the 25th Anniversary season of my theater in Branson, Missouri - the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center - starting up for 2017. My friend, and amazing illusionist, Rick Thomas opened March 11. Call 800-MOON-094 for tickets or visit andywilliamspac.com. In addition to Rick, my Moon River & Me show opens April 25. We have a whole roster of great entertainment lined up for you - so I hope you'll come and see us! :-)

Also, you may have heard our friend, Shaun Munday (who you'll often see on bass and vocals in Osmond performances), has released a solo CD. He is such a great talent - I hope you'll give his music a listen! Shaun's CD is available on iTunes, Spotify and through his website.

Wow - that is a lot of fun I've been able to share this time! :-)

Jimmy Osmond Moon River & Me Dates

Hi friends!

Can you believe we are at the end of the first month of 2017 already!? I don't know about you, but it sure went by fast for me.

I'm excited to be taking the Moon River & Me show back out on tour. Our first date of the new year is this Saturday, February 4 in Marietta, Georgia at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. Here is the link for tickets, I hope you can join us!

Charlie Green, of Britain's Got Talent fame, will be back with me for the Moon River & Me shows. This young man has so much talent! If you haven't seen him yet, I promise you'll really enjoy watching him perform. Also from Britain's Got Talent and from our U.K. tour for this show, we'll have the amazing ventriloquist, Steve Hewlett. Both of these guys are such good friends and so much fun to work with - it is going to be great getting back on stage with them.

We really have a lot of fun with this tribute show to my dear friend, Andy Williams. We hope to see you this Saturday night as we sing the songs that made him famous and offer you the type of variety entertainment that Andy loved.

Happy New Year from Jimmy Osmond!

Hi everyone,

My family and I spent a great holiday season in the U.K. touring with the Andy Williams Christmas Extravaganza. We started out the month of November and went through December 9 at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center in Branson, Missouri, then took the show to three U.S. dates in the Midwest. After that, we took the show to the U.K. and finished up December 30. My family and I will be back home in Utah soon for a little rest from our traveling.

Today, my two-hour tribute, Moon River & Me, aired on BBC Radio 2. It was so much fun to be able to do this show. I was honored to be able to pay tribute to my friend, Andy Williams, in this way. If you missed it, you can still listen to it online through January 30. LISTEN HERE

When you have a chance, make sure you take a look at my theatre's website. We have the schedule for some of our shows posted already, along with links for getting tickets. More shows will be added, so stay tuned. It is especially exciting this year, since we will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Andy Williams Moon River Theatre (also known as the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center).

I wanted to wish all of you and your loved ones much health and happiness in 2017. Happy New Year!
Love,
Jimmy Osmond

Happy New Year from all of us at our place in Oxford :-)
