Jimmy Osmond...Remembering our Veterans

I'd like to wish all of our veterans a Happy Veteran's Day. Remembering my father, George Osmond, and all of the wonderful people who have served our country so well. May God continue to bless you and your families.

Jimmy Osmond...It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Hi everybody,

We're into our first week of the Christmas season in Branson, Missouri and it has been so much fun being back at my theater, the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center. It is so nice to be performing Christmas songs once again with my brothers, Merrill and Jay, and it is always great fun to work with The Lennons.

This season commemorates my 50th year of doing Christmas shows with my amazing brothers, and it is kind of a melancholy time for me. Next year it will be a different show here in Branson as it will be the 25th anniversary of the Andy Williams Moon River Theatre (which we now refer to as the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center). We'll be doing a different show for the Christmas season next year in celebration of the theatre's 25th anniversary.

I hope you can get to Branson, Missouri and see Merrill, Jay and me perform in the Andy Williams Christmas Extravaganza. In the show we also have The Lennon Sisters, The Lennon Granddaughters, Charlie Green, Rick Thomas, Pasha and Aliona, Steve Hewlett, the Andy Williams Singers, the Moon River Dancers and the Moon River Band. We have music, magic, comedy, dancing...the works!

We will be performing through December 9th, and then take the show on the road for three U.S. dates December 10-11-12. After that, Merrill, Jay and I, along with Charlie Green and Steve Hewlett, head over to the U.K. with the Andy Williams Christmas Extravaganza. You can get all of the details on our website.

Also appearing this Christmas season at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center...the legendary Lettermen and the new smash hit, "Hallmark Presents Maxine's Christmas Carol." Both of these shows run through December 10th, so I hope you can get by to see them too.

When our Christmas season ends, we complete our 2016 season at the Andy Williams PAC. It has been a fantastic year full of star-studded entertainment. Looking back, we opened the 2016 season in March with my friend, the amazing Illusionist Rick Thomas. April 2016, I joined the roster with my tribute show to Andy Williams, "Moon River and Me" with special guests my brother, Jay Osmond, Charlie Green and Chipper Lowell. The Lettermen started up their season with us in May, and the legendary a cappella musical group Rockapella came on board in June and July.

Our 2016 Celebrity Weekend Series kicked-off with the very talented country star, Jennifer Nettles and CMT's Next Women of Country Tour featuring Brandy Clark, Lindsay Ell and Tara Thompson. Country music's Leann Rimes also paid us a visit, and it was so much fun to have Ray Stevens with us again this season. We were very happy to welcome back comedian, singer, and impressionist Terry Fator direct from Las Vegas. We also hosted the Beautiful Offerings Tour with Christian sensations Big Daddy Weave, Plumb and We Are Messengers. Another hit show from Vegas joined us with the Michael Jackson tribute - MJ Live. Next up were legends Air Supply and David Cassidy. We were pleased to host funnymen Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy, and were very happy to have country music icon Loretta Lynn back on our stage, this time with EmiSunshine. Our Celebrity Weekends Series finished off with the very funny Jeanne Robertson.

It won't be long and we'll be starting up our 2017 season at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center, which promises to be an exciting celebration of the 25th anniversary of our theater. But for now, I hope you'll come and celebrate the Christmas season with us...it really IS "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!"
