Jimmy Osmond...still cruising!

Hello everyone!

My family and I are still enjoying beautiful Alaska and all of the nice people who have joined us on the Osmond Fan Appreciation Cruise. Here is a pic of my sons having a great time here...

Tomorrow is the first of September, which means in just about 2 1/2 weeks I'll be bringing the Moon River & Me Tour to The Suncoast in Las Vegas! We'll be doing two shows - September 17 & 18. I'm so excited and hope I'll see you there!

Hello from Alaska!

We are really enjoying the beauty of Alaska on the Osmond Fan Appreciation Cruise! Michelle, the kids and I took a helicopter excursion today in Juneau to the Mendenhall Glacier. It is just so beautiful, and we tasted the most amazing water ever!

We get on the cruise ship today for the second Osmond Fan Appreciation Cruise. I've got my family with me and we are all looking forward to a week of fun and exploring Alaska.

Tomorrow is my brother Wayne's birthday and I just wanted to send out birthday greetings before we set sail! I love him and am so proud of him. I miss him so much...life is always easier when he is around. I hope he has the best day ever and knows that his "left handed twin brother" is thinking of him. We all miss Wayne performing with us, but we also know he is really enjoying his retirement. Happy Birthday Wayne!

Jimmy Osmond - travel with me!

I'm looking forward to seeing those of you who will be joining me and my brothers, Jay and Merrill, on our Alaskan Fan Appreciation Cruise at the end of this week! I can't believe it is finally here! We had so much fun on our cruise last year and are really looking forward to visiting Alaska this time. I'm bringing my family along with me and we are all excitedly getting ready to leave for the cruise this Friday.

It won't be long after the cruise and I'll be at The Suncoast in Las Vegas for two Moon River & Me Tour dates - September 17 & 18. I'm so excited to have the tour stop in Vegas...I really hope you can join me! Here is a little commercial we've put together...

Jimmy Osmond heads to The Suncoast in Vegas!

Hi Friends!

I'm super excited and grateful for your continued support. I just think it's cool that when I started performing 50 years ago, it was in Vegas and just by happenstance, my friends at Boyd Gaming/The Suncoast wanted to have my Moon River & Me Show right before I go to the U.K. for my Moon River & Me Tour dates (which start September 26 at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton).

My shows at The Suncoast, September 17 and 18, perfectly mark my 50th year in show business when it all began for me right there in Vegas and on television's Andy Williams Show. Even though I've played Vegas all of my life, this time it's really special, because it is the first time I am actually headlining my own show. That is something I never thought would happen!

I'll have my cool brother, Jay Osmond as a special guest star, and from Britain's Got Talent, the amazing vocals of Charlie Green, the Moon River Band, and a few other surprises as well. I hope you can make it - it'll be great fun!

I've had so many people ask when tickets would go on sale, and today is the day - tickets just barely went on sale on The Suncoast website.

I am excited to see all of you soon - join me at The Suncoast in Vegas - it's a party!

September 17 & 18

Jimmy Osmond - We had a great week!

We really had a great time with the Moon River & Me Tour dates this week. 

I was joined by my brother, Jay, Charlie Green, and the Moon River Band this week for more shows on the Moon River & Me Tour. We started out with the show at the Brown County Playhouse in Nashville, Indiana, Wednesday, which I mentioned in an earlier post was a really fun time and the people there were wonderful to work with.

Our show last night at the Spencer Theater in Alto, New Mexico was at a beautiful theater with a pro crew. The theater was packed full :-) not because of me, but because of the amazing legacy of Andy Williams. 

I'm having so much fun doing this show and watching the impact that Andy's music still has in the lives of so many people that come to these shows.

Music is so powerful and you can really see it when people are literally tearing up remembering their lives when these songs were big hits for them. 

One man came up to me after the show last night thanking me with tears in his eyes and said that his wife is gone, but when I sang their song, Hawaiian Wedding Song, it brought back wonderful memories.

Another man, a veteran, said thank you for singing Danny Boy. He explained that was the song his mom sang to him when she said goodbye to him as he went off to war (she was gone when he came back). 

I've been told so many stories like these! 

I still can't believe I have been entrusted with such a treasure! It's really been a blessing and honor for me to be a small part of these experiences, and I thank you all for your support - it's really been amazing for me.

Jimmy Osmond - News Updates

We had a great time at the Brown County Playhouse in Nashville, Indiana with the Moon River & Me Show last night! Thank you to everyone who came to see the show, and a big thank you to all of the nice people at the Brown County Playhouse who made our stop there so nice! 

We are now traveling to New Mexico for another Moon River & Me Show at the Spencer Theater in Alto tomorrow night, August 12. Come on out and see me, my brother Jay, Charlie Green and the Moon River Band.

First, I want to say thank you to everyone involved with Celebrity MasterChef. I'm so happy for Alexis Conran - he deserved the win! Everyone was so much fun to work with. I can't believe I made it to the finals and will always remember this experience fondly.
