Jimmy Osmond – today’s new update

Hello everyone,

I arrived in Branson, Missouri last night after a good trip to the United Kingdom and excited to get back to my theater, the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center, to open my show “Moon River and Me Starring Jimmy Osmond” this Thursday, April 28.

We had some bad storms last night, and during the storm, while I was in my apartment at the theater, the power went out. I quickly realized someone had cut the power lines and broken into my apartment. I thankfully managed to scare them off before any other damage was done or anything was taken. I have to thank the Branson Police Department for their quick response to my 911 call, and security has now been heightened for the theater.

If any of you have been trying to get through to the theater box office for tickets, please bear with us while our phone lines are restored. We welcome you to visit the box office for your ticket purchase if you are in town, otherwise, you can also buy tickets online.

Right now, I’m working out the finishing touches for the opening of “Moon River and Me Starring Jimmy Osmond” tomorrow night at the Andy Williams Performing Arts Center. Charlie Green, an amazing singer, and the hysterical Chipper Lowell are back with me. My brother, Jay Osmond, will also make a guest appearance. Come on out and see the show if you can, it will be fun!

  13. BEST show in Branson. I frequently travel to Branson and always look forward to my "visit" with the Osmonds. I also enjoy seeing other favorites such as Peter Noone and Jennifer Nettles! Keep up the good work, Jimmy! Many more visits to enjoy!

  23. Dear Jimmy, I'll be praying that everything is fixable and that they catch the person who caused this...God's timing that you were able to be there at the right time -- it probably didn't seem like the right time -- at the time...but, you were able to prevent more damage and you were spared. God is Good, Jimmy. He will Help you in your show. Sending love from -- Lois from Wyoming, OH -- who first saw you perform in Seattle with your brothers and Andy when you were about 3 or 4.

  36. Aaaw Jimmy, that was a very scary time for you, our worst nightmare isn't it. I remember when we lived down south, we were broken into in broad daylight in the morning. We weren't in the house at the time, so no one was hurt. My daughter walked into the house from school for her lunch and discovered what had happened. Thank goodness no one was hurt and they weren't still there when my daughter went home. We lost a lot of things that can't be replaced such as, some items of jewellery that was my late Mum's and some Jewellery my late brother had given me , my husband lost the ring his late mum gave him. Everthing was upside down. It was this that made me move away from there. But whatever we lost at least no one was hurt, especially my children. I am so glad you were not hurt Jimmy, but wow what a horrible scary time for you. Take care.

  47. Ok, that is way too scary! Crooks clearly don't know who they are messing with! (Millions of adoring fans who would cause them to fear for their lives if they hurt one of "our" Osmonds!). Glad you are safe!

  48. Wow, that sounds so scary. Glad you are ok. We were robbed in the 1990's, but luckily were not home. I could not imagine being at home and someone breaking in. Glad you are safe and were able to scare whoever it was away.
We will be at the show on this Sat., and we also will be on the cruise in August. Looking forward to both events.
